Story-in-Short:
Life is a bitch and I'm one of its victims. I had the perfect
life. I was blessed with the perfect boyfriend, a perfect best friend, the
perfect set of girlfriends and perfect choice of career. There were some
loopholes but then they went beyond my perspective. Overall, I had the kind of
life people would ideally like to have but happy times aren't meant to last
forever.
Sometimes we feel that we have figured life but that's something that is never going to happen. You know why? It's because it has this habit of kicking us right in the middle of ecstasy. No wonder, it did the same with me.
This is my story, my story of that exploration within, my feelings, my emotions, my thought process, my priorities, my conflicts and my journey into the temptation of love, lust, lies and betrayals. This is the story of Kritika and a man who gave her life another dimension, Tanishq. This is a story of the complexities of relationships and the trap that a simple idea of sensuality, pleasure and euphoria can put you into. This is a story for everyone who has loved, lost and fought for survival and love, together.

In My View:
Romance is what you can call an outcome of love and affection. We often
see people turning romantic with their partners. This feeling is full of
excitement and joy. A romance is associated with good and pleasurable
feelings. Mutual understanding, honesty and morality make a relationship
shine. But when dishonesty and betrayal follows, bitterness invades for
sure. Here I am done reading Bad Romance… Love, Lies and Betrayal by
author Harshita Srivastava and here's my review on the book!
This story is about Kritika who turns down her parents
aspirations to study in Bangalore and chooses Greater Noida for studies. Being
an ambitious girl, Kritika desires to become a Radio Jockey but her father
firmly maintains his denial to this choice of hers. Here, while pursuing her
studies, Kritika comes across Vikrant and soon they discover feelings for each
other.
As days pass, perils overpower pleasures and she finds it
difficult to manage the relation. Fearing about another break-up, she somehow
deals with it. But when this whole relation takes a risky turn, she approaches
her friend Tanishq for help. Tanishq is her friend who promises to help her
out. Soon enough Kritika begins to spend
time with Tanishq. Meanwhile, she gets a chance to follow her passion. But what
turn will this love story take? And will she be able to manage things in her
life? To discover more about this story, readers must surely place an order for
the book and go through it!
The story involves a reader completely as the author has
dealt interestingly with it.
Over-all: The
cover of the book features a woman standing on the seashore, trying to find out
a moment of peace for herself. The cover page is truly enthralling. The cover
page designer deserves a round of applaud for this! The title of the book is
intriguing. Both, the cover as well as the title will easily captivate a
reader’s attention. The narration of the story is good.
Speaking about the drawbacks, the beginning as well as ending of the
story could have been better. Also, the author could have moulded the story in
a different manner. While going through the story, I did find some editorial
mistakes too.
Yet, I would call the story intriguing as readers will
develop an urge to find out further happenings in Kritika’s life. Eventhough the
story sounds like a casual one, yet its narration plays wonders! Readers must
give this story a try!
Considering everything, I would rate the book with 3.5/5.
Congratulations to Harshita for her novel and hope she comes up with more!

Thank you for the honest review, Suyash. I am glad you liked the narration and for the editing errors, I will put in every effort to remove them in the next issue. Apologies for coming out late with a response, have been stuck with health issues.
