In my view:

And here I have completed reading this lovely anthology Moonlit Matinee… And the love takes over. Well, talking about this anthology, I can call it an interesting book. Again, the cover the book itself highlights that it is all about love!

1) Bon Voyage – Harshita Srivastava I Rating: (3.5/5)
This story gives a brilliant start to the anthology. The story introduces Aakash and Khushi who used to love each other at one point in time. Basically, these two had got in touch through Orkut but later their relationship had ended. Interestingly, they meet after years during a train journey. The story highlights the perils of long distance relationship. Harshita has very well written this story.

2) Emptiness – Pulkit Gupta I Rating: (4/5)
Have you read Life and Promises by Pulkit Gupta and Ila Garg? If yes then be prepared to meet Rachit and Radhika again. Rachit a Chartered Accountant by profession loves to wander to several places to spend his holidays. He once goes to Manali where he meets a shy and introvert Radhika. This story is beyond your imagination and incredible! Each and Every page of this story is surely going to pull you more and more into the story. I feel that the names could have been changed in this story.

3) Rasgulla – Abhishek Atul. I Rating: (3/5)
Abhishek Atul brings you a story between two lovers Aniket and Rhea who belong to two different religions. In the story, Rhea belongs to a family which doesn’t allow inter-caste marriages. Despite the family opposes, the way these two lovers stay in touch has been described in an appropriate manner.

4) Wish you were here… - Ila Garg. I Rating: (3.5/5)
Ila gets you the story of Aakash and Vaani – two students of Bachelors in English Literature. This boy Aakash has a silent crush on Vaani. This story is indeed very well written. It has an emotional conclusion and describes the ‘real love.’

5) The Rosemerry Letter – Ashish Sharma. I Rating: (3/5)
It is a story in a poetic form – a ballad. It is composed in a completely different and an interesting way. Step-by-Step this ballad unfolds a story of a devotional lady Meera and her faith in Lord Baake Bihari. This ballad gets its readers a story of two lovers and this love soon turns into a marriage.

6) All I want is you – Sonia Kundra Singh. I Rating: (3.5/5)
Devyani Bedi a teacher falls into love with an army man Abhimanyu Bhel. Complications arise between the two but their love for each other sort it out. The love, care and bonding between them has been described in a perfect way. Good Job Sonia, I loved the story and I am sure the readers will love it too!

7) The Love Story – Harpreet Makkar. I Rating: (3/5)
This story has a very simple title but it the story is complex and unique! It is about two lovers who come together through fortune. It’s about Harry and Shreya. Rohan is an adopted child in the story. It is a good story by Harpreet yet I believe that it could have been a bit more mature. Yet it is going to surely entertain its readers!

8) The Gift – Ishita Bhown. I Rating: (4/5)
This is a story of two lovers Raj and Jiah. Jiah is the girl who meets Raj after having faced a couple of obstacles in life. What I loved in this story is the way their love and friendship is described. Then finally Raj proposes Jiah but before accepting that she demands two gifts from him. Now, why and what does Jiah demands? The answers to these questions you need to find from the story.

9) Bollywood Affair – Ayaan Basu. I Rating: (4/5)
This story of Ayaan Basu is different from the other stories and the content is surely going to catch your heart and soul. Farzin and Nishant have a complete different life but they fall in love for each other on the night when a party is thrown to make an announcement of Nishant Roy’s family. In this story, Ayaan has highlighted the dark life full of struggles for an aspiring actress, stepping in bollywood. I loved this story to the core.

10) Flavored Smoke – Pratham Devang. I Rating: (3/5)
It is the story of Aviral and Avish who meet up unexpectedly after five years, eight months and fourteen days. Their feelings take roots when both fall in love with each other at a metro station. I won’t reveal this story much as it is interesting and you need to read and find out the further part from the book.

11) Lyrics of Lavish Rain – Rachna Sheth. I Rating: (3.5/5)
After attracting readers to her poetic writings in books like ‘Love, the Ecstasy,’ ‘Uff Yeh Emotion’ and ‘Life and Promises this time Rachna has bought us a very different concept. I really loved the notion of this ballad. Basically the poetess has described rains and emotions attached with it. It’s indeed a refreshing composition!

12) Cupid’s Arrow, Bull’s Eye – Siddhartha Yadav. I Rating (3/5)
The story has an interesting perception. Naman, Asmita and Mohit are the characters. Asmita is married to Naman. But utmost surprise and shock grips up when one day she finds herself nude beside Naman’s boss Mohit. On the first night of their marriage, Asmita did believe that Naman did not love her but when she found herself with Mohit she felt cheated. Frankly, the story could have been stronger, atleast at the end. Otherwise the story is fine.

13) Ehsaas  the feeling – Pulkit Gupta. I Rating (3.5/5)
It is again a very enthralling story which I really enjoyed reading. It is a story of an old aged orphan couple with spectacular ideas and thoughts. This story according to me is good enough to easily attract the minds of a reader!

14) An Ode to Relationship – Nandini Garg. I Rating (3.5/5)
The anthology comes to an end with this lovely poetry describing love. It is trully a commendable poetic composition. It is full of romance. As you start reading it you realize the beauty and get connected to it unless it ends!

So, this is my review on the stories in this anthology. Speaking overall, the book is quite attractive and stories in it are also worth reading. Yes, a handful of mistakes are committed and which could have been avoided. Apart from them the book is full of interesting stories which replenishes love. I would like everybody to read it and enjoy this season of love!
