Story-in-Short:

Right since childhood, the world in which we live teaches us to bury our bad past somewhere deep inside us and just move on. So deep, that even we cant possibly dig it back out. What happens when a 10 year old child, who claims to be your future son, comes to you to help you find his mother, whos your perfect match? What happens when you eventually start doubting his intentions? What happens when a girl starts turning your dreams into nightmares? What happens when your future son starts haunting you? What happens when your future starts bleeding into your present through your PAST? Hey Dad! Meet My Mom!!! is nothing less than a roller coaster ride of mystery, love, comedy, fear and suspense. So make sure you don't forget to expect the unexpected!!

In my view:

Mysterious and unforeseen entries often make scenes topsy-turvy in life. Fright soon occupies its position. But what when one is able to see his future son in his present, talking and communicating with him, trying to establish a bond and guiding him in his love life? It’s incredible, isn’t it? But author’s Sandeep Sharma and Leepi Agarwal have a similar story for readers. A stunning story which absolutely absorbs you.

Puneet, the protagonist of the story is a bank employee, excellent in work, but the opposite in love life. And then one fine day, a mysterious person arrives in his life: Rishi. A little boy aged 10, Rishi, startles and astonishes Puneet, who soon realizes that he is the only person who is able to see the boy, who possesses similar characteristics, and addresses him as “Dad”.  An initially stunned and frightened Puneet, slowly accepts the reality which dawns upon him – Rishi is his son from the future and is here only to help him find his wife.

However, Rishi is not a person to be taken for granted. He brings several twists in Puneet’s life, though he starts relishing Rishi’s company and his presence makes him feel good. But the vagaries in his behaviour are enough to bother his mother and those who care about him, making the former see a self-styled Godman and then a psychiatrist relative. On the other hand, there are these terribly troublesome dreams which wobble-up Puneet’s nights and make them frightening.

Is Puneet’s life into some mess or what it is exactly that this gentleman is going through? How are these things related to this fellow’s past and do all these things have a conclusion? Well, not a single more revelation on this amazingly fascinating anecdote, as you yourself need to explore this story ahead.

First of all, the title is really exciting and rousing; in-short, it’s brilliant.  It’s enough to drag eyeballs and pull a reader towards the book. The cover too, is perfectly designed, and is very much suitable for the story. The story begins interestingly, with an eccentric question and proceeds further to unfold a really enthralling tale. Far away from monotony, the story is gripping, with a wonderfully set-up plot, and perfect characterization.

The suspense deepens and pulls readers more into it as the tale proceeds, and even when it concludes, it leaves an indelible mark on readers. The story is well-narrated and moves at a fast pace, but at places in the later phase, a bit more description and slow movement would have made it a perfect one! Also, a few grammatical errors in the book need to be treated.

But these things might rarely affect readers as they’ll get engrossed in the story with its flow!
Recommending it to all those who want to try something new – I am sure there’ll be many! Go ahead for this book and invest in it – the story is worth it!

Concluding the review, I am rating this book with 4.25/5. Congrats to the authors and hope they keep getting us such remarkably unique stories!
