Yes, I fell in love.

Yet, this is The Best Serendipity of my Life. 

A tale of fun, music, passion, love and life.

In my view:

Every person has a story. And, as youngsters grow up, they tend to fall in love with the opposite gender. Often love plays a game with lovers. Some relations break down while some go on and on before transforming into a marriage. 

The word Serendipity stands for ‘pleasant surprises of fortunate things happening in life'. Debut author Swetank too has come up with a story of his own life, calling it the best serendipity of his life. And here he talks about his encounter with his love and their relationship. 

I am done reading this musical love story. Swetank, the protagonist of the story, is a Mechanical Engineering student, interested in music. For Swetank, life itself is musical. He is very well acquainted with musical instruments and also hosts musical concerts in his university. While one such event, he meets a girl Zeel.

Both of them share a very good bonding, speak for a long time over phone and often meet-up too. 

Realization dawns upon Swetank and he discovers feelings for Zeel. He proposes her and she accepts it, marking the beginning of their relationship. But things don't remain sweet as we expect them to be.

To discover the story in detail, a reader will have to purchase a copy of the book. 

The cover page of the book is appealing but the story deserved a short and sweet title. Anyways, the present title is not bad at all. The narration of the story is pleasing until the later part of the book where it falls loose. I think the author could have driven the whole story in a beautiful way, adding proper stuffs. I found certain things which were repeating in the story and which could have been avoided. Instead of repetitive stuffs the author could have added something different and new in the story. Anyways, I am sure that the author will keep all these suggestions in mind for his future projects. 

Considering everything, I would rate the book by 3/5.Congratulations to Swetank for his debut novel. Waiting to read more from him.

We all like story books. On the other hand, majority of the students do not feel l

ike reading academic books because they find them difficult to understand. J.U.I.C.E. contains different short stories explaining the concepts of Economics and Management. Readers would not feel that they are teading something relevant to their academics but still by the end of it, they would attain a lot of knowledge regarding these subjects. Our motto is to make people view these subjects from a different perspective and expand the horizon of their thinking.

In my view:

After Four Corners of the Circle, we now have JUICE by Mohit Jain. And here I am done reading this remarkably well-written novel containing flavours of Management. It’s forward is written by Sabina Pandey, Reginal Director of Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, Kolkata. 

Basically, this book targets two crucial topics i.e. Marketing and Economics and explains various aspects of it in depth.  The book targets a topic like Direct Marketing and introduces sub-topics like 4D’s and 4S’s which play a vital role in marketing. Selective examples and Case studies which aspirants should necessarily know have been given in the book. 

JUICE isn’t like the other books on this topic which include long, long description about a particular topic and take students through a dusky road. This book has only those elements which students need to know, for their present as well as future. Thus, it shows an explicit path to a reader or student.

Both the sections, Marketing and Economics, have been well handled by the author. The author has used all his expertise in writing this book and this can be felt evidently when one goes through it. Mostly books on such topics contain only written matter. 

But JUICE is extraordinary as the author has taken up initiative to put up diagrams, charts, representational pictures and has used smart art technique where-ever required. This initiative of the author adds up to the beauty of this book and when I went through the book, I just did not feel like keeping it down. That’s because, everything is explained so very well with all essential stuffs in it. 

JUICE takes a reader through a comprehensible journey of learning Marketing and Economics and an aspirant will surely imbibe these concepts in the course of reading this book. 

Over-all: The cover page is beautiful enough, with the usage of perfect shades to drag eyeballs on it. The title too is perfect. The narration style of the author is interesting and comprehensible. A reader won’t have to struggle much to understand what the author has written. I found a few grammatical errors in the book. Apart from that, no other drawback and the book proceeds perfectly fine. I will definitely recommend this book to Management and Economics students. Also, others who wish to acquire concepts of marketing can simply get this book and take pleasures of understanding as well as reading. JUICE it up, readers! 

Considering everything, I will rate the book with 4.5/5. My best wishes to author Mohit Jain and I hope he comes up with more and more such helpful books.

Story-in-Short:

The hidden and deep buried story of all Indians, who once have been in love with someone or the other in their life. It is a story of dreams, mischievous, Fights, passion that kids have in school life. This tale represents the mental state of a typical Indian students, whohas entered the adolescence and experiances the emotions, where were alien to him, his quest to get the answers. This book is his journey for true love of his life. It is the story of a boy “Maverick” who becomes a Fighter Pilot and meets his love of childhood almost a decade later just to find that his destiny has planned something else for them. When everything seemed to be right, he finds himself across the border in histile terrains, in hands of enemy and declared dead by his government. His journey back to his nation, with help of the lady doctor who recovered him from death bed, his proving of being alive and Loyalty. This is the story of finding and loosing love, life and death, war, sorrow, patriotism, protest & reunion, a classic to read & go back to your childhood. 

In my view: 

Here I am done reading this love story of Dilaveez and Naina. This story takes one back to 1995 when Dilaveez, a school student falls in love with his schoolmate Naina. Naina too has feelings for him. A very cute love story that begins in school and continues up to war zone. 

This book describes those wonderful school days, bunking classes, birthday celebrations, prank on teachers and fun with friends etc. From Etah, Dilaveez moves to Agra for further studies. He joins Air Force and then the story moves further with his focus on his job as well as his love. 

The interesting part in the book is when they are on their place and enter the Pakistani territory aerially. Their communications, descriptive messages and skills to tackle the enemy planes develops interest in the story. This part sparks curiosity among readers. 

Speaking over-all: the cover page and the title, both require a serious deliberation. Even the narration style of the author isn’t that good. The book contains whole lot of grammatical errors which really irritates a reader while reading the book. At places, there are mistakes with tenses. The sentence begins in past and ends up present and vice versa. Also, articles ‘a’, ‘an’ and ‘the’ have been wrongly used. 

Usage of slang words have also been done in the book. These mistakes drag away a reader’s attention from the plots and storylines. The story too falls loose at many places. The writer should have got the book edited before publishing it as editorially the book is very week. Thorough deliberation is required.

I’ve got very little to praise the book. But anyways, I am sure that the author will consider all these things during his future projects. 

Considering everything I would rate the book with 2.5/5.

Review: Nav and the Ninth Universe.

A week ago, a friend of mine Udita Pal recommended me to Shailesh Kumar Jha who writes under a pen name Sunny Shandilya. Minutes later, I had a word with the author and the delivery deal of the book was finalized. Nav and the Ninth Universe is Sunny’s first maiden novel. This enthralling story took roots on a night in March 2011. 

Nav and the Ninth Universe – a clock of time, is a story of a boy ‘Nav’ who loses his father at a young age. This boy strongly believes that there are universe’ similar to ours. His assumptions later turns into reality when he comes to know that his father (who died 10 years ago) is alive in a parallel universe. 

• In my view:

The book begins with an adage ‘Morning shows the day’ after which the author has portrayed how life became full of struggles for Nav. Nav often get’s some eccentric dreams. His mother rejects his concepts by saying that they were a result of over-stressing. Nav finds some tattoos on his hands and questions his mother about them. His mother, after observing the tattoos tells him that it was his father’s wish and that the number nine inscribed in the tattoo highlights his birth date i.e 9^th January. 

• Author Sunny Shandilya.

Nav, who takes-up Astro-physics with an intention to build a time-machine in future in order to reach up to his father. His monotonous life becomes topsy-turvy when one fine day he gets to know that a lady who was living with his for all this while was not his mother and this his parents were in another universe. The story then unfolds. 

The cover of the book is also attractive but the only thing that falls the impression of the book is its font.

The book generally has a very interesting story and author Sunny Shandilya has executed it in a very fascinating manner. The story can be turned into a film as it introduces a reader with a good content.

The vocabulary used by the author is too good. Several idioms and phrases have enhanced the writing. 

Nav and the Ninth Universe is a book which teenagers will like more as they are widely interested in knowing such facts. It is a must-read novel. Readers should purchase it and give this new content a try! :)
