Story-in-Short:

An emissary of an advanced alien race travel to the Earth to undertake responsibility of an experiment that has gone out of control. The outcome of this fateful experiment, which was conceived millions of years ago by her species, now rests in her hands. As she prepares to deliver her final judgement, she comes across three young men in a sacred forest who change her life forever.

These three men – a scientist, a hacker and an artist – happen to take refuge in that forest, trying to escape from the oddities of their own unfair lives. Struggling with their dreams and demons, they begin to explore the dark and paranormal behaviour of the forest by forging a companionship. From the rare flora and fauna breathing alive on the ground to the deadly wide expanse of the whimsy black sky, everything they find is yet another puzzle unsolved.

Little did they know that four of them hold in their hands the future of mankind, and much beyond imagination, they are connected through an ancient Prophecy that was long lost in the sands of time.

In my view:

I have just completed reading this spectacular and an amazing book - The Prophecy of Trivine.
The story begins captivatingly, introducing us to Phil Mascarenhas alias The Red Dragon. Phil, a hacker falls into a very big and inevitable matter. Phil finds himself in danger as policemen walk into his college director’s office to arrest him, calling him a terrorist. But before the police could capture him, he manages to evade them and escapes out of the college premises. While he rides his cycle to evade the police arrest, he enters a dark and sombre forest.

Confusion and Muddles loads Phil’s head. Inside the forest, Phil accosts a girl who asks him to follow the moon. He follows her suggestion and finds a shack. As he enters inside, he explores a laboratory and comes across some video logs stored in computer. While he goes through them, a person seen in the video accosts him. After preliminary conversation, this person introduces himself as Siv and is a scientist by profession. Phil too accustoms himself in the shack after which Siv gives him permission to live with him.

When Phil moves out in search of food, he meets Arty who is an artist. Astonishment takes over Phil as he learns that there are these two humans living here. Siv and Arty already know each other and thus trio befriend.

One fine night, when Phil was going to be attacked by a wolf, he is saved by Arty. There on a tree, Phil finds a relic (bracelet). All three of them then fall asleep and slip into a dream which is a common dream for the three. And then there is an entry of Agni which adds up to a reader’s interest. Agni’s entry is followed by a sequence of interesting things unfolding in the life of these three. I won't reveal much although I am sure you want to know what happens next. But for that you need to grab your copies of The Prophecy of Trivine and enjoy this wonderful work of fiction.

Over-all: The book is very, very, very interesting. The cover and title of the book are also appealing. Once a reader emerges in the story, it is difficult to come out of it. Every plot in the story is comprehensible to the readers and the story goes smoothly from the beginning till the end. It is a perfect blend of suspense, thrill and excitement. This work of fiction, by the three debut authors is synonymous to the international works. I haven’t come across any such amazing book from an Indian author.

It actually provides a quality literature that readers generally look for. A few paragraphs in the book are elongated, which at times takes attention off the story. But otherwise the book is awesome and surely a must-read! Keeping all these things in mind, I would love to rate it with 4.75/ 5. The Prophecy of Trivine is a highly recommended book to all the readers! Get your copies today itself!
