In my View:
I just completed reading Girls Hostel – Unspoken Memories, a novel describing Hostel Life and
the enjoyable times these girls had there. The book introduces a group of
friends including - Shreya, Shruti, Ridhi Kriti and Meghna.
The book begins by the description of the last
college-cum-hostel night. These five friends
involve themselves in a game and take pleasures of that on their last hostel
night. The college being away from their homes, they have to accommodate themselves
into the hostel. While describing about the first hostel night the authors have
mentioned about ragging by their seniors. But during this ragging many things
come into picture out of which, important is Shreya’s generous behaviour. Shreya’s
conduct wins the hearts of her seniors.
Many things unfold in this college-cum-hostel life; curses
are hurled upon the hostel warden, several confessions come up, these girls
fall in love with boys and their lifestyle too changes.
On their last night when they play a game, many more hidden
secrets get revealed. Which is that game, what are those secrets and which are
those unspoken memories that the author was mention? Want to know? Then quickly grab your copies to enter
into this hostel.
Speaking over-all: the cover of the book is perfect though
the title could have been catchy. There are certain grammatical errors in the book but I am sure the authors
will work on these things in all their future works. Else, the narration of the whole tale is interesting and I would rate this book with 3/5!
