Your skin will be filled with goose bumps and as you will feel the joys and sorrows you will eventually become the invisible part of this romantic saga.
Let’s join Asif in his encounter with the love of his life and the listless experiences that came along with the package.
In my View:
Love, Loyalty and Trust are three strengths of a
relationship. Any relationship tends to break up even if any one of these
strengths is missing. I just went through another love story by Md.
Asif. And this love story reflected the same message.
It beings with, Asif, the protagonist of this story who boards a train to
Kolkata. He finds his co-passenger a bit disgusting. Asif has a curiosity
to know about his diary stuffs and so clandestinely pulls it out from his bag
as soon as he goes to sleep. But the co-passenger smartly catches hold of him
and Asif apologizes. Soon, their conversation takes a friendly turn and both
start discussing about their encounter with love affair. But the book majorly features Asif’s love story.
This love story starts during his school days. A new girl
student named Mihika is admitted to the school and this girl’s beauty attracts
every boy to her. Every boy in Asif’s class dreams to be with her in a
relationship. Initially, Asif doesn’t feel much but later, as days pass, he
realizes the generating feelings. And one fine day, Mihika and Asif both
confess their feelings to each other and this marks the beginning of this
relationship.
But everything isn’t in their hand. Mihi fails in her exams
and Asif just manages to pass. Asif is sent out of town to study and this brings
remoteness in their relationship. What will this remoteness lead too? Will
their feelings for each other melt or will they continue to be strong enough?
Well, you need to read the story to find out more.
Over-all: A girl
lying down and a ring hanging up along with the showering flower petals are
enough for a reader to understand the genre of the book. The cover page is
beautiful and so is its title. The characters are lovely and so is the plot
of the story. Even though the story moves at a fast pace, it feels as if
everything is happening in front of us. In short, the story has a realistic
touch which will add up to the interest of a reader.
I did not feel the narration of the story that strong. The
author could have definitely crafted the story more perfectly. Also, the book
has grammatical errors which could have been avoided.
Leaving these mistakes, the book offers an interesting love
story!
Considering everything, I would rate the book by 3.75/5.
Congratulations to the author for his debut novel and hope he comes with
similar such stories.
