Story-in-Short:
In my view:
Cyber security has become one of the most pivotal concerns
for every country. Hacking has emerged as a major threat, globally, and
security experts across the world are trying to find an ultimate solution to
this problem. Sankalp Kohli and Paritosh Yadav’s book get to light the story of
an intelligent hacker who shakes the systems and irks the government.
An intelligent and vibrant youth Vikram, goes through a
difficult phase, when he loses his father, with whom he was in good
communication. No sooner did this happen than his mother sent him to Mumbai, at
his aunt’s place, to be away from the media, that had allegedly labelled his
scientist father of being a terrorist. A
devastated Vikram accepts this harsh reality and moves ahead in life, while his
concern for his mother continues to remain firm.
He and his college friend Payal fall in love and get along
well, after some initial troubles and clashes. The city life and atmosphere
makes him forget the bad memories. Everything seems like settling back to
normalcy and it appears that the time is turning over a new leaf, when the
deplorable news of his mother’s death rips him apart. It is only after his
mother’s death that Vikram gets to know several things that had been kept
clandestine, even a bit of which he is unaware of.
From here-on begins the real action in the story. Vikram
gives a tough time to security experts, especially Arjun, an able and dynamic
officer of CIST. Despite the fact that the situation aroused is tough, Arjun
rolls up his sleeves and connects the dots for catching hold of the accused.
But will he be able to do so? Will he be able to execute the plan and crack the
case? Or will Vikram deceive Arjun and the security officials? This is what you
need to find out from the book.
The book possesses a promising and thrilling story; a story
that will leave you intrigued.
The cover page of the book is well-designed. The person on
the cover portrays Vikram, I assume, with Mumbai in the backdrop. The narrative
is an amazing one and engrosses a reader completely into it. The storyline is
perfect. The characters are dealt with properly, and apart from Vikram, Arjun
and Payal, there are other supporting characters too.
The story begins very interestingly but goes on to become
fragile for a moment, before getting back on track. Also, there are some parts
of the story which are slightly weak and dull.
Apart from the little disappointment, so much will the story
engross you that, you’ll feel exactly like the characters are made to, in the
story. It’s a blend of politics, technology and thrill, and shows how an
individual comes to the fore and gives the clarion call for a revolution.
I am recommending it to my readers for it’s a unique and an action
packed story; one which each reader will enjoy reading!
Considering everything, I am rating the book with 4/5. Congratulations
to both the authors and hope they come up with many more fascinating tales!
