I do not understand what I should say about this book. Words
will fall short if I describe this book with them. This spellbound book is just
awesome! Well, it was sent to me by my friend and avid author, Ayaan Basu just
three days back and from the moment it was delivered it has not been away from
my hand.
The novel basically brings-up a story of a teenager who
falls in love with two girls and later faces betrayal. Depressions,
frustration, tears, astonishment (bad and good) and lots of emoticons greet him
step-by-step.
The novel introduces four characters – Aryan Roy, Anushka
Banerjee, Kaira and Faiyaz Khan. Aryan is a boy who befriends a girl Anushka
Banerjee on a Social Networking site.
They exchange a few messages and finally
meet-up. Aryan soon develops feelings for her and later realizes that he is in
love with her. He thinks a lot of confessing his feelings and one fine day does
that when an unexpected reply shatters him. He gets to know that she loves a
boy Rupam who is four years older to her just because he is rich and has a good
job at Infosys. Aryan enters into a brawl with Anushka and she says him a
heart-touching sentence – ‘create your own identity before pointing at others.’
Aryan who wishes to pursue Mass Communication to be a
journalist purposely takes-up Engineering just because he wanted to create his
own identity to show it off to Anushka.

Aryan and Anushka again befriend after some years. But soon
he gets to know about her affair with another boy. Here, Aryan brings a drastic
control over his emotions and decides to place Anushka in his past. In the
later days, Aryan gets close to Kaira. They start exchanging sweet, semi-hot
and memorable messages. Aryan feels that he should go and propose her.
Finally after utmost contemplations, Aryan keeps his
feelings. Joy greets him as he gets to know that Kaira loved him too.
But destiny gets a twist here. Kaira who shifts to Delhi for
her studies intimates with a stranger and Aryan gets to know about it from
Anushka, who was also in Delhi. Aryan’s heart breaks down. Tears roll out of
his eyes. He feels betrayed. He feels angry. It is believed that ‘Every
Incident of life teaches us a new lesson.’ Similarly, Aryan too learns a lesson
that although he may not have a true girl-friend but he is eligible enough to
spend his life alone. He comprehends that in the beginning it might be
difficult to adjust but with time everything will return back to normalcy.
He then focuses on his career and climbs further steps of
his life.
While reading this book, I felt as if I was watching a
movie. It is no less than that. I am sure if film directors, known for
love-based movies, read this book; they can come-up with an interesting movie
in at Box Office. The story that this book unfolds is far, far and far better
than the story that movies like ‘Student of the Year’ and ‘Ashiqui-2’ have
splendored.
Being an adorable book, it pleases its readers with crisp,
heart-touching and memorable story.
